Own is a brand I co-founded that has a satirical view of football and the culture that surrounds it. Inspired by British subculture and the humour, wit and DIY ethos of football fanzines from the late 80s.
In the fanzines, the ‘Own Fan Club’ express their disillusion with top tier football through nostalgic graphics and tongue-in-cheek ‘reader’ based features .The staple-bound zine is photocopied using budget white and fluorescent stock, keeping true to the do-it-yourself aesthetic and attitude of fanzine culture.
